ISUZU D-MAX 2020–2021 recall

REC-000672 · campaign S202042 · published 2020-12-20 · 8994 units · more ISUZU

The defect

The rear seat seatbelt pretensioner locking tab may be defective and will not tension properly.

The hazard

If the pretensioner wiring harness connector incorrectly locks, this can prevent it from fully tensioning the seatbelt in the event of an accident. This could increase the risk of injury or, in the case of a serious accident, increase the risk of death to vehicle occupants.
